Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition With Two Screens, 10GB RAM And Three Cameras Is Official

Vivo Nexus Dual Display Edition is the second Snapdragon 845 powered flagship phone for the year from Vivo. Vivo Nex, launched in June, came with a bezel-less screen and pop-up selfie camera. The newly announced vivo nex dual display version is an innovative smartphone that has two displays, triple rear cameras and 10 GB RAM.

Design and Display:

Despite packing in a double screen, vivo nex dual display version only measures 8.1 mm in thickness. The device weighs 199 grams. An aluminum frame is sandwiched between the front and rear glass. The phone is equipped with 6.3 9-inch S-AMOLED screen, which has a full HD + resolution of 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and 2,330 x 1,080 pixels. A layer of 2.5 d glass has been kept on display. According to vivo, the new dual display version provides a screen-to-body ratio of 91.63 percent.

Sliding backwards, the second screen of the phone is revealed in which the thick bezel is up and down. The back side of the 5.4 9-inch Super AMOLED screen provides a full HD resolution of 16: 9 aspect ratio and 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. There are three camera sensors on the display with dual-tone LED flash, an RGB-lite moon ring and IR publisher. The name of the NEX brand is placed on the bezel below the display.

Chipset, RAM and Storage:

Snapdragon 845 chipset with 10 GB RAM gives power to NX Dual Display Edition. The 3,500 mAh battery inside the device is equipped with 22.5W fast charging. The internal storage of the smartphone is 128 GB. There is a lack of MicroSD card slot in the handset.

Cameras and Other Features:

Vivo is the primary 12 megapixel Sony IMX 363 sensor F / 1.79 aperture in the Nexus Dual Display Edition. It is equipped with features like 4-axis OIS and dual pixel autofocus. It is assisted by an F / 1.8 aperture 2 megapixel depth sensor. The third lens AI is an F / 1.3 aperture time off flight (TOF) 3D camera for facial recognition and AI beautification.

There is no self-camera in front of the phone. Instead, the second display acts as a viewfinder while capturing itself. Vivo Nexus Dual Display Edition runs 9 pi, which is overlapped with Vivo's Fun Touch OS 4.5 UI. JV AI preloaded on the accessories.

Face Unlock feature of vivo nex dual display version can be used to unlock from the rear. AI Face recognition is enabled by TOF camera. Vivo says that it can read 300,000 points on the face at a distance of up to 3 meters to accurately scan the user's face. To unlock the device from the front, the user can use the phone's under-display fingerprint scanner.

The RBG-lit lunar ring has two camera sensors and spreads at the top of the rear display. It shines for notifications, and can be set on pulse while playing music on the phone. Moonlight can also illuminate while playing a game on a smartphone. There are extra soft LEDs in the Moon Range that can also work as a selfie flash.

Connectivity features available on the Vivo Nexus Dual Display Edition include Dual 4G Volts, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB OTG, USB Type C, GPS and 3.5mm Headphone Jack.

Price and Availability:

Vivo Nexus Dual Display Edition has a price tag of 4,998 yuan (~ 52,300) in China. Smartphone's pre-order home has begun in the country through Vivo's official online store. The handset can be availed in blue and red colors. It will be released on December 29 in China, international availability will start next year.
